Jay S. Duker, M.D. is the President & CEO and Board Director of EyePoint, a biopharmaceutical company that develops sustained-release medications to treat serious ocular disorders. Dr. Duker has devoted more than 30 years to the field of ophthalmology focused on improving eyesight and preventing blindness, holding roles in clinical research, business, and academic settings. Dr. Duker joined EyePoint in 2020. Prior to becoming President & CEO in July 2023, Dr. Duker served EyePoint as President and Chief Operating Officer, and as Chief Strategic Scientific Officer. He also served on EyePoint’s Board of Directors from 2016-2020 prior to his re-appointment to the Board of Directors in July 2023.

Between 2001 and 2021, Dr. Duker was the Director of the New England Eye Center (NEEC) and Professor and Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at Tufts Medical Center and the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He has published over 345 journal articles, concentrating on retinal imaging, retinal vascular diseases, and drug delivery to the posterior segment. Dr. Duker remains in clinical practice, seeing patients with medical retinal disorders and intraocular tumors.

Dr. Duker is the founder of three successful start-up companies; SurgiSite Boston, the fifth busiest independent ophthalmology-only out-patient surgery center in the United States, the Boston Image Reading Center (BIRC), and Hemera Biosciences, the developer of HMR59, an AAV-based gene therapy for dry age-related macular degeneration that is now in a ph2 clinical trial after being acquired by Janssen in 2020. Dr. Duker was on the Board of Sesen Bio and served as its Chair. Dr. Duker received an A.B. from Harvard University and an M.D. from the Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.

As Chief Strategic Science Officer, Tarek S. Hassan, M.D., leverages over 35 years of experience as a globally recognized retina specialist and key opinion leader to provide strategic guidance across the Company’s portfolio to optimize development, potential commercialization, and growth opportunities for EyePoint’s pipeline.

Dr. Hassan is currently Professor of Ophthalmology at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and a Senior Partner at Associated Retinal Consultants in Royal Oak, Michigan. He has held leadership roles across several major global retinal organizations, including serving as Past President of the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS), the Foundation of the ASRS, the Retina World Congress (RWC), which he co-founded, and the Retina Hall of Fame. Throughout his career, Dr. Hassan has participated in more than 180 multicenter clinical trials, authored more than 250 peer-reviewed publications, and delivered more than 860 scientific presentations nationally and internationally. He has been named to Best Doctors in America every year since 2000 and was an inaugural inductee of the Retina Hall of Fame.

Dr. Hassan earned his B.S. with Highest Distinction in Biology, his B.S. in Psychology, and his M.D. from the University of Michigan before completing his ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan’s W.K. Kellogg Eye Center. He completed his fellowship in vitreoretinal disease and surgery at Associated Retinal Consultants within William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.

As Chief Commercial Officer, Michael Campbell leads EyePoint’s commercial strategy and operations, leveraging over 30 years of commercial leadership experience, where he scaled global commercial organizations and pioneered patient-focused strategies for commercializing innovative ophthalmologic products. Prior to joining EyePoint, Mr. Campbell was the Chief Commercial Officer at Opthea, where he built the commercial organization and led pre-launch readiness for a potential new product for the treatment of wet AMD. Prior to Opthea, he oversaw various commercial activities including ophthalmologic product launches, sales and marketing, and pre-launch activities across his roles as Senior Vice President and Head of Commercial at Viatris Eye Care, as Vice President of Biologic Commercialization in retina at Novartis, and as Vice President of the U.S. Ophthalmology Business Unit at Shire. Additionally, Mr. Campbell held commercial leadership roles at Genentech, where he was a key leader in the commercial launch of Lucentis^®. Mr. Campbell also held various sales and commercial roles at Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Eli Lilly, and AstraZeneca / Medimmune. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University and is an Executive Education graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.

Dr. Ando has had a distinguished career in the global pharmaceutical industry for more than four decades. He began his career at Pfizer, Inc., where he held several senior clinical positions both in the U.S. and in Europe. Dr. Ando also served as President of the Astra Research Centre. He held various senior appointments at GlaxoSmithKline plc, including Research and Development Director for Glaxo Group Research. Dr. Ando then joined Pharmacia AB in 1995 as Executive Vice President and Deputy Chief Executive Officer to lead Research and Development with additional responsibilities for manufacturing, information technology, business development and M&A. During his nine-year tenure as Head of Research and Development at Pharmacia/Pharmacia & Upjohn, 17 new drugs were approved by the FDA prior to Pharmacia’s acquisition by Pfizer for $60 billion. Dr. Ando retired in 2018 as Chairman of Novo Nordisk A/S and previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Cell Tech Group PLC from 2003 to 2005. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Nouscom A/G (a private company in Switzerland). Dr. Ando has been the Chairman of Nanexa (a public company in Sweden) since 2020 and has served as a Director of Initiator AB, (a public company of Denmark) since 2026. Previously, he served as Chairman of the Board for several European-based biopharmaceutical companies, and, until April 2020, he served as a board member of Molecular Partners (a public company listed on the Swiss exchange) and served as a Senior Advisor at EW Healthcare Partners from 2007 to July 2021. Dr. Ando received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Uppsala University in Sweden and Doctor of Medicine degree from Linköping University in Sweden.

Dr. Sanders is a distinguished retina specialist currently serving as a board member of Prism Vision Group (PVG), and he is the most recent President of the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS). Dr. Sanders is also a physician within the Retina Group of Washington (RGW), a division of PVG. He served many years as president and managing partner of RGW and was a main driver in building RGW to become the largest practice of retinal specialists in the United States. Dr. Sanders has a career in education and research with RGW, developing a national reputation. He is well published, having more than 50 papers, articles and presentations to his credit, and has lectured nationally and abroad. Dr. Sanders has served as an investigator/sub-investigator in numerous studies of new retinal treatments, including being a principal investigator for Lucentis®, a landmark treatment for wet age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD).

Dr. Sanders has made significant contributions to ophthalmology demonstrated by a collection of honors and awards. His exceptional achievements include his election as a charter inductee into the Retina Hall of Fame, receipt of the Packo Service Award in recognition of his exceptional service to the Society. He trained at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, and he completed a fellowship in Vitreo-retinal Diseases and Surgery at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Sanders holds an M.D. from Yale University and a B.S. from the University of Virginia.

Mr. Hassan joined Warburg Pincus LLC, a global private equity investment institution, in 2010 and currently serves as Director. Previously, Mr. Hassan served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Schering-Plough from 2003 to 2009. Before assuming these roles, from 2001 to 2003 Mr. Hassan was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pharmacia Corporation, a company formed as a result of the merger of Monsanto Company and Pharmacia & Upjohn, Inc. He joined Pharmacia & Upjohn, Inc. as Chief Executive Officer in 1997. Mr. Hassan previously held leadership positions with Wyeth serving as Executive Vice President and was a member of the board from 1995 to 1997. Earlier in his career, he spent a significant tenure with Sandoz Pharmaceuticals and headed the company’s U.S. pharmaceuticals business.

Mr. Hassan served as a director of Time Warner Inc. from October 2009 to June 2018 and as a director of Amgen, Inc. since July 2015. In the course of his career, he has held numerous directorships, including those at Avon Products, Inc. from 1999 to 2013, Bausch & Lomb from 2010 until its acquisition by Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. in 2013, and Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. from 2013 to 2014. Mr. Hassan has chaired notable pharmaceutical industry organizations including The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) and The International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Associations (IFPMA). He received a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the Imperial College of Science and Technology at the University of London and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Stuart Duty has served as a director of Achieve Life Sciences, Inc. since March 2023. Previously, Mr. Duty was a Senior Managing Director of Guggenheim Securities, LLC, a global investment, and advisory financial services firm, from June 2012 to March 2023. He also served as Managing Director, Co-Head, Healthcare Investment Banking at Piper Jaffray Companies, a global investment firm, from 2007 to 2012, as the Chief Operating Officer of Oracle Partners, L.P., a private healthcare focused investment fund, from 2002 to 2007, as Managing Director, Co-Head, Healthcare Investment Banking at Piper Jaffray, Inc., an global investment bank, from 1992 to 2002, as Managing Director, Healthcare Investment Banking at Montgomery Securities, an investment bank, from 1993 to 1999 and as the Director of Business Development at Curative Technologies, Inc., a biotherapeutics company, from 1992 to 1993.

Mr. Duty holds a B.A. in Biochemistry from Occidental College and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School. The determination was made that Mr. Duty should serve on our Board of Directors due to his extensive experience in the banking and finance industry.

Ms. DiCicco serves as an independent financial and board advisor to companies in the life sciences industry, often serving in the role of interim Chief Financial Officer. In January 2025, Ms. DiCicco began a financial advisory role on the take-private transaction of bluebird bio (now Genetix Therapeutics), where she was named CFO in June 2025 upon the completion of the transaction. From July 2023 to December 2024 she served as the interim Chief Financial Officer for Akari Therapeutics (NASDAQ: AKTX). From 2019 to March 2022, she served as interim Chief Financial Officer for Renovacor, a preclinical stage biopharmaceutical company (NYSE: RCOR). Previously, she was Chief Operating and Financial Officer of Centinel Spine from 2017 to 2018, a privately-held company. Ms. DiCicco currently serves on the board of directors of Imvax, Inc a privately-held biotechnology company, and previously served on the boards of directors of SWK Holdings Corp (NASDAQ:SWKH), Sincerus Pharmaceuticals, ExpressCells, II-VI, Inc. (NASDAQ: II-VI), Carmell Therapeutics, Syncardia Systems and CannaPharma Rx (OTC: CPMD). She previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Camber Spine Technologies and has held Chief Financial Officer roles at Nuron Biotech, Quench USA, Globus Medical and Kensey Nash Corporation. Her career started in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche in 1990. Ms. DiCicco received a B.S. in accounting from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science and is a licensed CPA. She is also an appointed Board Leadership Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).

Carl Regillo, M.D. was a Phi Kappa Phi graduate of Northeastern University, College of Pharmacy, where he was the class Valedictorian.  He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School on a full military scholarship.  He performed his internship in internal medicine at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, and both his ophthalmology residency and vitreoretinal fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.   He was appointed the Co-Chief Resident and awarded a Heed Ophthalmic Fellowship during his postgraduate training.

After training, he was commissioned a Major in the United States Air Force and stationed four years as a vitreoretinal surgeon at the San Diego Naval Medical Center.  There he was Co-Director of the Ophthalmology Department’s Retina Service, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of California, San Diego, and recipient of a Naval Commendation medal and the Ophthalmology Department’s annual teaching award.  In 1998, he returned to Philadelphia to join Mid Atlantic Retina and the Retina Service of Wills Eye Hospital.

Dr. Regillo is currently the Director of the Retina Service of Wills Eye Hospital, Professor of Ophthalmology at Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine, and Principal Investigator of numerous major international clinical trials investigating new forms of treatment for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and a variety of other retinal conditions.  He is the founder and former Director of the Wills Eye Clinical Retina Research Unit, prior Chairman of the Wills Eye Institutional Review Board and prior Chairman of the American Academy’s Basic and Clinical Science Course (BCSC) Retina Section committee.  He is the former Wills Retina Fellowship Program Director.

Dr. Regillo has authored over 200 scientific papers, lectured nationally and abroad, and has published 9 major textbooks in the field. He has served on the scientific editorial board for the American Journal of Ophthalmology, Review of Ophthalmology, Current Opinion in Ophthalmology, Yearbook of Ophthalmology, Retinal Physician, and Retina Today.  He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, The Retina Society, The Macula Society, and The American Society of Retina Specialists.  He is a former examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology and a recipient of the American Academy of Ophthalmology Achievement, Senior Achievement, Secretariat, and Lifetime Achievement Awards along with the America Society of Retina Specialists Honor, Senior Honor, and Founders Awards.  He was named one of the “150 Top Innovators in Retina” by Ocular Surgery News, selected a Charter Inductee of the Retina Hall of Fame in 2017, and on the Ophthalmology Power List 2018 and 2020 of the top 100 most influential people in the world of ophthalmology.  He also has been listed multiple times through the years as a retina “Top Doctor” in the Philadelphia Magazine, Philadelphia Life, Mainline Today and South Jersey Magazine.

Charles Wykoff, M.D. is Managing Partner of the Retina Consultants of Texas Research Centers; Chairman of the Research and Clinical Trials Committee, Retina Consultants of America; and Deputy Chair of Ophthalmology for the Blanton Eye Institute, Houston Methodist Hospital. He received his baccalaureate from MIT, PhD from Oxford University while on a Marshall Scholarship, and MD from Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Wykoff completed ophthalmology residency and vitreoretinal fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute where he served as Chief Resident/Co-Director of Ocular Trauma and received a Heed Fellowship and the Ronald G. Michels Award.

Dr. Wykoff is passionate about translational research and clinical trial design, and serves as principal investigator for numerous clinical trials. He has published nearly 200 peer-reviewed manuscripts and frequently speaks at national and international academic meetings. His research interests pertain to angiogenesis, retinal vascular diseases, atrophic retinal diseases, and vitreoretinal surgical topics. Dr Wykoff serves on multiple scientific and medical advisory boards, safety monitoring committees, and global steering committees for endeavors spanning the innovative process from early to late stage developments.

He is President (2021-2023) of the Vit-Buckle Society and serves on the ASRS Board of Directors as Chair of the Practice Management Committee. He is also a founding member of the Ophthalmology Retina Editorial Board and an elected member of the Retina Society and Macula Society. He has been awarded the ASRS Senior Honor and Young Investigator Awards as well as the AAO Secretariat and multiple Achievement Awards.

Rishi P. Singh, M.D. is the Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at Mass General Brigham, overseeing ophthalmology across Massachusetts Eye and Ear, Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and affiliated sites. He also currently serves as a Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. He received his bachelors and medical degrees from Boston University and completed his residency at the Massachusetts Eye and Infirmary Harvard Combined Program in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Singh then completed a medical and surgical fellowship at the Cole Eye Institute in Cleveland, Ohio. He specializes in the treatment of medical and surgical retinal disease such as diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and age-related macular degeneration. Dr. Singh has authored more than 170 peer reviewed publications, books, and book chapters and serves as the principal investigator of numerous national clinical trials advancing the treatment of retinal disease. Dr. Singh is the former president on the Retina World Congress and is on the board of the American Society of Retina Specialists. Dr. Singh has been honored with several research recognitions such as the Alpha Omega Alpha Research Award and American Society of Retina Specialists Senior Honor Award.

Allen C. Ho, M.D., FACS is Attending Surgeon and Director of Retina Research and Co-Director of the Retina Service of Wills Eye Hospital and Professor of Ophthalmology at Thomas Jefferson University. He maintains special interests in macular diseases, diabetic retinopathy, surgical retinal diseases, and clinical trials investigating new treatments for vitreoretinal diseases including gene and cell therapies and new surgical drug delivery devices and techniques. His experience includes collaborative translational and clinical trial clinical research with expertise in study design, methodological testing, data analyses, surgical instrumentation and procedure development, execution and communication of these studies and their study results, and commercialization and patient access to care. He is past President of The Retina Society and a leader of Eyecelerator, the largest ophthalmic innovation meeting in the world.

He has deep experience in translational clinical research and been Study Chair, Steering Committee Member or Principal Investigator of over 70 clinical trials. Dr. Ho has served on the US FDA Ophthalmic Device Panel, AAO Innovation Task Force, AAO Ophthalmic Retina Technology Assessment Committee, AAO Retina Measures Group, AAO IRIS Registry Committee and is past Chair of the AAO Retina Subspecialty Days.

Dr. Ho has authored over 300 peer reviewed publications and several textbooks and is Editor-in-Chief of Current Opinion in Ophthalmology and Chief Medical Editor of Retina Today. He has received distinguished awards from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, multiple retina societies and the American Diabetes Association. He is a perennial awardee of national Castle Connolly awards and has been named to The Ophthalmologist Power 100 most influential eye specialists in the world on multiple occasions, most recently 2023.

David S. Boyer, M.D. is a Board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the treatment of diseases of the retina and vitreous. He is Senior Partner at Retina-Vitreous Associates Medical Group with offices in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, North Hollywood, Torrance, Pasadena, Tarzana and Glendale, California.

Dr. Boyer is an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology with the University of Southern California/Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles, CA. He has an extensive research background and is currently an investigator for various clinical trials. He is one of the leading retinal clinical researchers in the country for new treatments in macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema.

A widely-published author and avid lecturer, Dr. Boyer lectures nationally and internationally on retinal research and the innovative approach to the treatment of retinal diseases.

Sophie J. Bakri, M.D., MBA, is Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN and holds the Whitney and Betty MacMillan Professorship in Ophthalmology in Honor of Robert R. Waller, M.D.

Dr. Bakri completed a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and ophthalmology residency at Albany Medical College, New York. She graduated from the University of Nottingham Medical School, England. She holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She has authored over 200 peer-reviewed papers and 26 book chapters. She is a principal investigator on numerous multicenter clinical trials on novel drugs for retinal disease. She serves on the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Ophthalmology, Retina, Seminars in Ophthalmology and OSLI Retina. She has served on committees at the Macula Society, Retina Society and AAO, and is a Board Member of the American Society of Retinal Specialists.

She has been honored with a Senior Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a Senior Honor Award and Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Retina Specialists.
